ADVICE
I've no easy answers
No wisdom can I give
And even If you wanted
I couldn't tell you how to live.
But I believe the clouds will pass
And every storm must end
So when the sun breaks out anew
You'll realize I trust
That I truly am your friend.
TRUTH
I thought that I was seeking truth,
But in truth
The truth was seeking me.
If only I had stopped to listen closely
Truth's herald I might be.
But truth eludes my every quest
For in truth
The truth has abandoned me.
Perhaps in seeking I have found the truth
And the truth has set me free.
SOMETIMES
Sometimes,
I feel like a movie
Filmed in silence,
With subtitles I cannot read-
Filled with meaning I cannot fathom
And filled with warnings I cannot heed.
